Ziggy is an experienced Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor with a demonstrated history of working in the Health & Wellness, and Fitness Industry in the UK and Hong Kong.
Prior to her pregnancy in 2016, her focus was mainly on body transformations, but after the birth of her son in 2016, Ziggy's passion turned towards Women's Wellness and Pre- and Post-Natal Fitness, and became a Certified Pre and Post Natal Coach in 2018.
“My goal in Prenatal training is to prepare women for labour, childbirth and the postpartum period. You wouldn’t just rock up to a marathon (or a 100m sprint) without any prior training. Labour and childbirth is a physical, emotional and mental event.
The early postpartum period is rarely talked about, and in my opinion is much more demanding than childbirth. That’s why we need to prepare mothers in pregnancy.
I don’t believe in ‘bouncing back’ after you give birth. The body has changed, so I can definitely help someone lose weight and put on muscle, but the body will never be the same. It’s created and carried a human life; the body will never be what is was before because its become so much more.”
