PRIVATE GROUP CLASSES

Who is this for?

  • Friends looking to work out together (can be pre, postnatal or never had children)

  • Couples where one spouse is pregnant or postpartum, and wants to train with their significant other.

Private group classes can be done in a private gym room based in Sheung Wan. For clubhouses and home visits, a travel time fee will be added and calculated based on location.

TYPES OF PRIVATE GROUP CLASSES

YOGA

PRENATAL YOGA

  • Appropriate for those looking to stay supple and mobile throughout pregnancy.

  • A focus on connecting with your breath, body and baby in preparation for birth.

  • Yoga mats, bolsters and blocks will not be provided for private group classes.

POSTNATAL YOGA

  • Appropriate for those 6+ weeks postpartum with doctor or physiotherapist’s clearance to exercise.

  • Reconnect to core and pelvic floor through breath and movement.

  • Mobilise the spine and regain strength using your own bodyweight.

  • Calm the nervous system.

  • Yoga mats, bolsters and blocks will not be provided for private group classes.

HATHA YOGA

  • Open to all levels and experience of yoga.

  • Hatha yoga is yin-yang, sun-moon yoga where both stretching and strengthening are involved. Approximately half the class is ‘yang’ and the other half is ‘yin’. Some pranayama (breathing practices) will be included too.

  • Yoga mats, bolsters and blocks will not be provided for private group classes.


FUN CLASSES TO

INCLUDE YOUR BABY

MUMS & BUBS

  • A postnatal strengthening class where mums can include their babies (crawlers and toddlers welcome - please keep an eye on them)

  • Suitable for mums 6 weeks+ postnatal with doctor or physiotherapist clearance to exercise

  • Babies can be used as weights (and if they all start melting down, I am very good at adapting to their needs)

  • Parents of twins, get the second place 1/2 price.

BABYWEARING WORKOUT

  • A fun postnatal strengthening class where parents can workout wearing their baby’s in the carrier

  • Suitable for mums 6 weeks+ postnatal with doctor or physiotherapist clearance to exercise

  • Significant others welcome

  • Parents of twins, get the second place 1/2 price.


STRENGTH CLASSES

FITMAMAS

  • A private group class based on the needs of the group.

  • Can be a mixture of pre and postnatal, or parents of older children who want to work out after school drop off!

  • Absolute beginners to super fit can be catered to.

POSTNATAL STRENGTH

  • A 12-Week personalised program designed to return to you to lifting.

  • Recommended 2-3x per week training sessions.

  • Each session will need to be pre-booked at the same day/time/location in advance.

  • A 45 min individual consultation to go through your birth and exercises history and goals will be included.

  • Each session will include breath and core connection, mobility and weights-based lifting.

  • Minimum 3 people.
